2009 GROUP CAMP - Late Spring Bank Holiday Weekend

2nd Thatcham Scout Group invites all its Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to get together for a great camping and outdoors weekend with lots of activities and entertainments. We'll have a chef to prepare all of our meals too! The camp will take place at Rushall Manor Farm, Bradfield, Berkshire.

The camp dates are (for Cubs and Scouts) from Friday evening, 22 May 2009 until Monday lunchtime, 25 May 2009. For Beavers, it's late morning Sunday until lunchtime Monday.

The cost of the camp is £50 for Cubs and Scouts, £20 for Beavers.

Among the activities on offer over the weekend are: Kayaking, Cycling, Backwoods Cooking, Archery, Orienteering, Physical Challenges and Obstacle Courses, Creative Crafts, Abseiling, Rockets, Tie Dying, Bouncy Castles, and Wide Games. This is a provisional list and some activities may not be available to all participants.

Personal Kit lists, Medical Forms and Activity Consent Forms will be distributed at the end of March.

If you'd like to come, please complete the form (downloadable here) and return it with a non-refundable £10 deposit before the end of February. Please make cheques payable to 2nd Thatcham Scout Group and write the child's name on the reverse.
